Affirmative

It's affirmative that we're pregnant. We even saw the little gummy bear on the monitor from the small ultra sound machine. I even have a picture, but I don't think I'll post it since no one would be able to tell what anything is. It looks like a circle with a dot inside. That dot is our 2-inch fetus.

I've said before that I love my midwife. We met with her for over an hour and just chatted. Salem & Oaklen got to play with toys in the exam room while Darrell and I talked to her. Salem helped take my blood pressure and even helped shake the blood samples.

From the measurement on the ultra sound she said I was 8 weeks and 2 days. So that gives me a due date around the first part of March.

We were so good that we all got stickers and I got a Hello Kitty band aid.

I'm thankful for this family event, and was sad to think that at my next appointment Salem will miss it since he'll be in school.
